Glam-O-Mamas is a mother’s complete resource guide. Founded by by young mothers Amanda Griffin-Jacob and Nicole Jacinto in 2011 and now run by Glam-O-Mamas CEO Amanda Griffin-Jacob, this website is the GO-TO reference for like-minded, modern and eco-conscious women who want to strike a healthy balance between all the various roles that mothers take on today.
It’s a place where mothers can connect and share everything from everyday problems to advice to their individual experiences. There are usually practical solutions and suggestions for most motherhood conundrums.
Glam-O-Mamas covers the whole scope of motherhood (and life) from pregnancy to health to fashion to food and everything in between.
The quintessential Glam-O-Mama is your ordinary yet exemplary woman. She is a go-getter. She is a dreamer. She is proactive. She is philanthropic. She is environmentally conscious. Above all else, she is a mother.
Glam-O-Mama’s CEO Amanda is no stranger to the Manila social scene. A former international model, television host, and international VJ, she has graced the pages of countless fashion magazines around Asia. Her resume includes stints as a Channel [V] International VJ based in Malaysia, “F” host with Daphne Osena-Paez and Angel Aquino as well as hosts of “Team Explorer” and “Out & About”.
An entrepreneur at heart, she earned her bachelor in Communication and Business from Bond University, Australia. She has owned her own swimwear company “Tabu”, as well as co-founding an events company and publishing a coffee table book.
Amanda is an avid “green”, yoga enthusiast and recent vegan. Opting to raise her son as a vegetarian led her on a new and interesting journey which has sparked a newfound passion in holistic food and wellness. Her interests include television production, running www.glamomamas.com, raw foods and motherhood.
She is married to the love of her life, David Jacob. In 2010 they celebrated the birth of their greatest joy, Kieran.

Glam-O-Mama’s event strategist Nicole studied in two of London’s leading fashion schools, Central Saint Martin’s University and the London School of Fashion where she took up Fashion Journalism and Fashion and Beauty PR. While finishing her courses, she managed to obtain a covetable internship at the press office of Stella McCartney. Her London experience nabbed her a job in Milan at the international press office of Joy Yaffe, which represented several fashion houses and designers throughout Europe. In 2008, she ended her love affair with Europe and began the only love affair that will matter most– with her daughter Sofia.
