I have always known childbirth to be a beautiful experience. But it was only after experiencing it myself that I truly fell in love with it. This served as my inspiration to offer childbirth photography services. From my experience, it is during childbirth that you see the true emotional and physical strength of a woman, the gentle and patient love of a partner, and the first actual welcome of a child into the world. It is a once in a lifetime experience that I wish every family can capture.

 

We photograph special moments of our personal life – our graduation, our out of town trips. Childbirth is no less of a special moment. Regardless of how you choose to birth your baby, it may possibly be the most physically challenging and rewarding experiences a woman may go through. To see the strength of a woman at this point in her life is remarkable. To see her labor for the sake of her unborn child is a moment worth capturing.

 

We photograph special moments in our relationship – a proposal, a wedding. Experiencing childbirth with a loved one, like a husband for example, is a moment worth a million pictures. There is something very touching in the way a husband looks at his wife as she birth’s their child – the pride mixed with concern, the love and support and the excitement to meet his newborn baby.

 

We photograph special moments of our children – the first smile, the first step. The birth of a child is the most special time of all! It is the first time a child takes a breath of air, the first time his skin touches his mother’s, the first time he sees his parents, the first time he is introduced to the world.

 

My Story Photography is about capturing all these natural moments in camera. I want to give families the gift of having these precious once in a lifetime pictures. I want families to be assured that they have someone they can trust document their birth for them so they can fully focus on enjoying their birth experience.

 

At My Story Photography, we offer several services. Our bestseller is the BIRTHstory package. Here, I join the mother in the hospital from the time you she begins active labor until the after the delivery of her baby. I am usually able to capture lovely pictures of the couple as they undergo labor, the doctors as they visit and talk to the parents, details of the delivery such as footprints, birth tags, rooms, etc, and of course precious moments as the baby first bonds with his family!

I have expanded my services to offer post-delivery photo packages. Another favorite is the NEWBORNstory package. During the baby’s first days of life, he will most likely meet several people. Family and friends will visit. He will be bathed and fed. Or maybe the couple prefers to spend these first few days with just the two of them getting to know their newborn. Regardless, these as special moments can be captured in picture.

Lastly, I offer the HOMEstory package. Here, I join the family and photograph them as they bond with their baby in the comfort of their home. It may be about the baby in his beautifully decorated nursery, or being introduced to siblings or pets, being breastfed, or simply being enjoyed by the family. These are special moments and we photograph them as they happen.

In all my services, I try to be as unobtrusive as possible and keep the photos as natural as they can be.

Terms and Conditions:

• Available for 2012 births only.  Prize is transferable but not convertible to cash.
• Client and photographer will agree on a date and time for the photo session at least 1 week in advance.
• Location must be within Metro Manila.
• Joining the contest permits the photographer to use pre-approved photographs taken for marketing purposes. Photographer will inform clients which photographs will be used for marketing purposes.
