Creative and fun way to hang/store your kids’ bags and hats

One of the hardest things for parents to get their kids to do (aside from eating), is to pack away their stuff. More often than not, it becomes a struggle, a never ending negotiation between parent and kid, or is delegated to yaya. ☹

Here is one way for you to make it more fun for them without making it seem like a chore.

1. Nowadays, there are stores where you can get any wall screws that fit into your décor, whether it be an anchor for a nautical themed room or a car for a car themed room.

A friend of mine gave me these cute branch wall hangers with squirrels on them for Christmas.

2. To make it more fun and colorful, get a nice wall decal that fits the area of the wall where you want to hang the bags and hats. In this case, I got a nice tree decal to make it seem like the branches are part of it. Also, it makes it look like the bags and hats are hanging on the tree. (Goes well especially with Angry Birds bags)

3. Make sure that the hangers are scewed low enough so your kids are able to reach them.

Not only is it fun but also a space saving way to store your kids bags and hats.
