Mika Lagdameo-Martinez

For our inaugural GLAM-O-MAMA  we simply had to choose Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez. She’s young. She’s successful. She’s entrepreneurial. She’s a mother to 2 young children. (And to top it all off, she’s an all around nice gal). Here she tells us how she does it all with stylish flair.

Her days are filled with:

VP of PMAP, Elan Models International, expanding Gourmet Pao, Luxe magazine and my latest: a Money Broker… Modeling and hosting on the side.

Her parenting approach:

Between my husband and I, I am the disciplinarian..but at the same time, I am a hands on mother (especially on their first year) breastfeeding, no yaya, all out. But at their age now, they do errands with me like grocery shopping on weekends…:-) I try to read books to them as often as possible, do art together and even just play. :)

Her personal style:

I would say my style is fashionable but comfortable. not edgy either- I always go for the classic type of fashion.

Her role model:

I would say Tweetie De Leon-Gonzales— coz she’s got a business of her own, she’s fit and into sports, she’s got 4 kids that she’s close to, a husband that supports her, a modeling career despite years of being in the industry- a balanced life… and she never seems to be stressed.

Her secret:

I don’t know how I manage to do it…I just do. Time management and knowing my priorities are how it all works out. It helps also that I have a very supportive husband.

Her definition of a good mother:

Being a good mother now a days is when a woman does not lose herself despite all the “challenges” she has to face..Instead it empowers her to be the best that she can be not just for herself, but for her children most especially.
